Konami kündigte nun an, dass Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, die Finale Metal Gear Solid V-Erfahrung, offiziell weltweit am 01. September 2015 für PlayStation 4 und PlayStation 3 erscheinen wird.
Außerdem kündigte man zwei verschiedene Special Editions zum Spiel an. Einmal die Day 1 Edition für PlayStation 4 zum Preis von ca. 59,99 Euro, welche eine physische Karte des Spiels, das Spiel selbst und DLC-Items enthält.
